ELMA KLARA ÞÓRÐARDÓTTIR
I'm a 25-year-old Architecture graduate from The Iceland University of the Arts.
I've been devoted to becoming an Architect ever since I was 7 years old.
In 2015 I graduated with an Arts degree from Fjölbrautaskólinn í Garðabæ. The following Winter I took a course called Space and Form design at The Reykjavík School of Visual Arts. Since the summer of 2016, I've worked for Sesselja Thorberg at her Interior Design firm, Fröken Fix, in Reykjavík as an Interior Designer. In January 2017, I went to the UK on Erasmus+ for one semester at Falmouth University. During my stay in the UK, I did a five-week work placement at AEDAS in London. Click here to see an article that was written in Icelandic about my stay with AEDAS. After I came back to Iceland I worked as an intern at
Arkís Architects in Reykjavík for the summer of 2017. I am currently studying at RMIT, and in 2020 I'm due to graduate with my Master's degree in Architecture from RMIT in Melbourne Australia.
